Ireland has a new superfan and he’s absolute blast from the past

He knows class when he sees it.

We all know what Eric Cantona would have done to those English and Russian hooligans in Marseille but the Manchester United legend isn't going to kick up a fuss about those "fans". It appears that King Eric would much rather talk about the supporters from Ireland that have been extremely welcomed by the people of France. The football icon chats about some of the wonderful clips that Irish supporters have exclusively sent into our brothers over at JOE and SportsJOE during the group stages of Euro 2016. Take a look as the Old Trafford icon talks about the memorable moments when Irish supporters made friends with the French police, sang lullabies to a baby and charmed the French women. Why Cantona has his shirt open during the video is a mystery to us but we presume it's because he was following some seagulls in a trawler that's full of Irish fans. Take a look.
