The history books will let it be known that this Captain saved civilization.
4. Do not litter!
Ever. Captain Planet did not like people who litter and we just wanted to be friends with him really.
5. No one wanted the Heart ring.
Ever play Captain Planet and the Planeteers? No one wanted to be Heart. Admit it.
6. Get out of your car.
Captain Planet really was one of the original envoirnmentalists. He was teaching us to get out of our cars and walk before it was cool. He MADE it cool.
7. We can save teddy bears.
If we write to government representatives, apparently we can save bears and other endangered species. No emails though, it had to be letters.
8. Drugs are bad.
Pollution of the mind!
9. Everyone wanted to be Gaia.
Although the Planeteers were all really cool, everyone wanted to be Gaia. She lived on an island of crystals for crying out loud!
10. Recycle.
Just everything. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
11. There was always a lesson to be learned.
After every thirty minutes, you should learn a lesson. Alternatively, at the end of every episode, whichever suits better.
