When This Student Had Her License Suspended She Got VERY Creative

Desperate times call for desperate measures...  Although sometimes in the darkest moments, the most beautiful ideas are born. When one Texas student had her license suspended after refusing to a breathalyser test, she got very creative. Tara Monroe was given a bicycle to get to and from university after her car was confiscated, but instead decided on a set of wheels that was more suited to her personality - namely, a hot pink Barbie jeep.

Speaking to San Antonio Express News, Tara explained: "Riding a bike around campus sucks. Like really sucks. "This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame,’ she said. ‘Basically, it was the best decision I’ve made in college, yet."

Tara purchased the hot wheels on Craigslist for $60. The jeep christened "Charlene" racks up a top speed of 5 mph.
