But she did say that the weight gain didn't make her feel good about herself. She didn't like getting dressed and putting on outfits was a stress to her. She said, "Even though gaining weight is a natural thing and good for the baby, I couldn't help by having those bad thoughts come in."
She added that she was also worried that she wouldn't be able to lose the weight after she had given birth and also opened up about the changes to her body after the delivery. She said:
"I was fearful that I would never have my body back. That I would never have that control again. Having a vaginal delivery changes everything down there, and that's just something that's really not discussed. Like what's it's actually going to do and that there;s a really long recovery afterwards. It's painful and uncomfortable and along with taking care of a newborn you have a whole other situation to take care of."She went on to discuss the other changes:
"Your boobs change a lot. I had a lot of anxiety about what labour would do to my body.I obviously don't need to go into gory detail but as women I think that's something that we think about. You're pushing, for me, an 8-pound baby out of a little hole and I was concerned about what that would do to our sex life. If it would feel the same, if you (her husband) would feel the same way about me."Watch her explain here:
