“[It's] designed to support the brewing and distilling industry, which is a key growth sector and one undergoing a major renaissance. “Institute of Technology Carlow is ideally positioned - strategically, academically and geographically - to establish itself as a centre for teaching, learning, research and innovation in both brewing and distilling and the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Brewing & Distilling programme will target both national and international learners. “This new course builds on a long tradition of degree programmes in biosciences at Institute of Technology Carlow.”The points needed to get on the course are not yet known and will be determined next summer from the demand through the CAO.
