Adele surprises children affected by Grenfell Tower fire with big day out

The singer has been spending time with the victims of the Grenfell Tower blaze.

Adele has surprised the children who were affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower to a special screening of Despicable Me 3. The Londoner has spent the time since the horrific incident raising money for the victims and this week decided to treat the children struggling to a day out.

With real-life Minions and a cinema to themselves, the children were said to have had an incredible day. Parents shared pictures of the youngsters posing with the Grammy award winner who looked casual and relaxed on the day.

Adele was one of the first celebrities who arrived on the scene of the fire on June 14. The Grenfell Tower fire claimed the lives of at least 80 people.
