Nine weeks after the incident, Alanna headed back to hospital yesterday to have the stitches removed from her eyeball.
The Dubliner has been very vocal on TikTok about her ordeal, posting a video of herself in a hospital bed wearing a clear patch over her eye with the caption: “Surgery numba 3” and commented: “Went all good, thank you.”

“Another important day in Alanna’s recovery,” Jamie wrote. “She’s on her way in now for day surgery to have the stitches removed from her eyeball from the first surgery in the morning after the attack.
“It’s so hard to believe it’s only been nine weeks today since all this happened. It’s not been the best week. Emotions have been high, especially the not so nice ones. Keep praying and lighting them candles.”
Two men also in their late teens were charged in connection with the assault and appeared in court in early January.
