Responding to online concerns, the FBI confirmed released a statement adding: ‘The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes and Atlanta, Georgia, venue and event. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time.’ While people continued to grow alarmed from the news, the Anonymous group started receiving some backlash:

Internet hacking group, Anonymous declared “war” on Isis, promising to disable social media accounts and extremist websites last week.
In a video posted online, a member of the Internet campaign group warns the Islamic State:
“Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down.
“We will launch the biggest operation ever against you.
“Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.
