A spokesperson for the Gardaí told the Irish Mirror: "Gardai are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on Walkinstown Avenue, Dublin 12 which occurred this evening, Wednesday December 1, 2021, shortly after 6pm.
"A female youth was taken to hospital following the incident. The scene is currently preserved while Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination."
