Trump was announced winner after passing the 270 electoral vote mark, the required amount for a majority win.
At the time of writing, he has a 53 vote lead over Democrat opposition Kamala Harris, while also receiving 51% of the vote.
This morning, speaking in front of a large rally of supporters, Trump said his 'victory' will bring about a 'golden age' of America.
Trump said at his rally: "This is a magnificent victory for the American people, that will allow us to make America great again."
Trump vowed to fix border issues and said that he survived his assassination attempt earlier this year 'for a reason'.
Political leaders across the country have begun congratulating Trump in tweets, including Israeli leader Benjamin Netenyahu and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris has confirmed she won't be speaking tonight as her supporters have been sent home from her rally.
