Ibrahim Halawa has just landed home in Dublin

 Ibrahim Halawa has just landed home in Dublin airport.

The 21-year-old Firhouse native was greeted by friends and supporters just after 11am this morning. Halawa spent four years in an Egypt jail. He was released after being acquitted of all charged against him relating to a protest in Cairo in 2013. https://twitter.com/KZapponeTD/status/922771083387899905 https://twitter.com/KZapponeTD/status/922775865511079938 Halawa took to Facebook earlier today to share an Instagram of himself and his sister, Nosayba, on the plane before leaving Egypt. He wrote:

"Finally on my way home :) thank you to everyone who has caused this moment I love you all so much :) looking forward to finally coming home :) I will arrive Dublin at 11! #home #ireland #dublin #life #freedom #thankyou #happy #irish."
