The punter woke up €500,000 richer on Tuesday having won the life-changing prize in Monday night's Daily Millions Plus draw.
The winning player, who was based in Waterford, purchased their ticket the day the draw took place from Eason’s in Dungarvan Shopping Centre.
The National Lottery has urged all Waterford Lotto players to check their tickets.
