"I am very hopeful. There will be new evidence."
"But I cannot say anything, the investigation is being led with the utmost confidentiality."
Michaela, Mickey Harte's only daughter, was killed by strangulation in her hotel room in Mauritius during her honeymoon with her new husband John.
The 27 year old had only been married for just over a week when she was attacked in the room on January 10th 2011.
Two former hotel workers Sandip Moneea and Avinash Treebhoowoon were acquitted in 2012 and a new probe was announced last August, but no evidence came from it.
Former First Minister of Northern Ireland Arlene Foster and Deputy First Minister Michelle O'Neill confirmed the news that the case was being re-examined, which was welcomed by Michaela's widow John.
John said: "A significant step in the right direction. Thank you Michelle and Arlene."Her Money Diaries: A 43-year-old Garda on €80,000 a year
