‘She is free from pain’: Three-year-old daughter of Hamilton actor Miguel Cervantes passes away

Hamilton actor Miguel Cervantes shared the upsetting news last night that his daughter Adelaide has died. Adelaide Grace Cervantes sadly passed away in a Chicago hospice after a long struggle with seizures. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3k87IUAY12/ The grieving dad posted to social media to share the sad news with his fans who have been following Adelaide's journey;

"The machines are off. Her bed is empty. The quiet is deafening. Adelaide left us early Saturday. She went peacefully in her mother's arms, surrounded by love. Finally, she is free from pain + seizures but leaves our hearts shattered. We love you so much Adelaideybug and forever after."

Miguel's heartbreaking post said that she died in the arms of her mother, "surrounded by love". Adelaide suffered her first seizure at the age of 7 months, and was diagnosed with infantile spasms two months later. Miguel and his wife Kelly are also parents to Adelaide's older brother Jackson. The family have not made any further statements since their recent post on social media and our thoughts are with Miguel, Kelly, Jackson and all their extended family at this very difficult time.
