Teenage Boy Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin Last Night

A 16-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in Dublin last night. The tragic accident took place shortly after 11.30pm when the teenager was struck by a vehicle near the junction of Tolka Valley Road and St Helena's Road in Finglas. According to Newstalk, the boy was rushed to the Mater Hospital but was pronounced dead early this morning. The driver and passenger of the car did not sustain any injuries in the collision and gardaí are now appealling to anyone who may have witnesses the crash to come forward.
