‘Thinking of you all’ – Ariana Grande’s tribute one year after Manchester Arena terror attack

Today marks one year since the devastating Manchester Arena terror attack which took 22 innocent lives and injured hundreds.

And as a day of remembrance, tributes are pouring in across the world for loved ones and family lost by this horrific tragedy. In the UK, Manchester are holding a vigil at 2pm as well as a national minute of silence at 2:30pm. Ariana Grande who was performing on the night of the attack had just finished her final track, "One Last Time" when the first home-made device detonated. Since, the 24-year-old popstar has played a massive role in fundraising and helping those who were injured and grieving. Today, she tweeted out a tribute to mark the one year anniversary.

Families of the 22 lost also spoke out today remembering those closest to them. Dan Hett, whose brother Martyn died in the attack, told the BBC that the support he has received in the past 12 months has been "overwhelming".

Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham also tweeted out a message of support alongside today's Manchester Evening News cover which includes the names of all 22 who lost their lives this day last year.
