RTÉ have reported that the majority of expected redundancies will be largely voluntary in nature, and staff in each of the five business units are being briefed on a one-to-one basis. A redundancy package of around five weeks per year of service plus statutory entitlements is on the table, and employees will have several weeks to consider the offer.
