Gigi Hadid is coming under serious fire for her new Versace ads

YIKES.

As if Gigi Hadid didn't have enough on her plate, the blonde beauty has left people seriously unimpressed with her latest modelling shots for Versace. The Italian fashion brand's latest shoot has officially dropped, shot by Bruce Weber, but the casting and overall composition of the shoot has left us a little confused. The latest Versace campaign is getting seriously criticised for having the American model posing as a mother with a biracial family. One picture in particular features Gigi as a mother, but with every black member of the family looking at her, portraying the underlying message that the white woman is the focus of a picture.

Rg @marsellodavies Take this ad down Versace, it's embarrassing. SMH. This entire ad focuses on the token fair skinned mother. Both child and father looking at her in awe. Minorities are severely underrepresented in the industry and when in ads, they're almost ALWAYS depicted in the shadow of an elite fair skinned model.

Viewers have been left puzzled at the fact that Gigi is only 21 and is characterised as a mother, suggesting that working mothers should've been selected such as Jourdan Dunn.
