Members of the apprenticeship will be mentored throughout the two years and taught how to find their place and progress in the many thriving tech roles in Ireland. It's a huge opportunity that will fully prepare you for a career in one of the country's biggest industries.
I-FIT started when Google put a €1M investment into the Dublin Impact Challenge and invited non-profits, social enterprises and educators to submit bold ideas to grow social and economic opportunities in their communities. There were 250 applicants and I-FIT made the final 15, securing it a grant funding of €50,000 to help build opportunity in Dublin.
The first intake is set to start this November 2019 and I-FIT is looking for applicants who are interested in joining the talent pool. They are also looking for companies who want to access that talent pool, so if you work in a company that's in need of some great tech minds, get in touch.
If you think you have the tech knowledge and passion to thrive in this apprenticeship, head over to their website and apply there directly via Become an Apprentice or contact [email protected] for more information. With a paid apprenticeship, you've really got nothing to lose.
Candidates must be 18 years or over and must have achieved a minimum of five passes in their Leaving Cert, including English and Maths, or the equivalent from another country. Candidates must also be eligible to work in Ireland.
So go on, there's no time like the present to make a change.
