Adele fans sent into a frenzy after rumours she is going to release new music next week

Adele fans have been sent into a frenzy amid rumours she is set to release new music next week.

Her last album, 25, was released in November 25. It sold more than 22 million records across the globe. And fans went wild after a tweet from Music News Facts claimed there could be new music on the way - and a lot sooner than anyone suspected. They wrote:

"Adele will release her NEW ALBUM on Nov 8th 2019, according to Showbiz! "This means that her lead single will drop as soon as next week."

And while nothing has been confirmed just yet (although, we'll admit it, we're keeping our fingers crossed it happens), fans began to celebrate the possible new music. The news comes six months after Someone Like You singer released a statement confirming her split from her husband Simon Konecki. Released by her representatives, the statement read:

"Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. "As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."

They have one son together, Angelo, who was born in 2012. She is now said to be seeing grime artist Skepta in a "whirlwind romance", and has reportedly introduced him to some of her closest friends - you can read more about that here.
