Amanda Seyfried shares the reason behind her secret wedding to Thomas Sadoski

Amanda Seyfried has revealed how she feels "more empowered" after becoming a mum last year.

The Mamma Mia actress opened up about the changes in her career after she wed Thomas Sadoski last year, with the pair welcoming their daughter soon after. She told PorterEdit:

"I feel more empowered [to say no, after becoming a mum]. “I’ll say no, I can’t do that press trip, I’m spending time with my daughter', 'Oh, you want my top off for that part? "'How about we scrap that sex scene altogether? And no, I’m not wearing those thongs!"

She also told how the roles she does end up choosing have ended having a positive impact on motherhood, parenting, as well as some parts of her personal life. Like, for example, why she decided to secretly get married when she was nine months pregnant. Seyfried and Sadoski tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year, with just the officiant present. She continued:

“I get married all the time. I was in a wedding dress last week! I also go to premieres where people take my picture. “I just don’t care about all that stuff. “I really wanted to have rings on in the hospital, you know? And what if something goes wrong, and he’s not legally my husband?”
