Amber Gill defends Anna Vakili in first social media posts since breakup with Greg O’Shea

Amber Gill has taken to social media to defend her fellow Love Islander Anna Valiki.

Fans of the popular reality TV show had criticised Anna and her sister Mandi for not giving Amber time and space to deal with her breakup from Greg O'Shea. However, as many will agree, sometimes you need your friends around in these situations and Amber took to Instagram Stories to say that Anna has provided her with support during "the last few days". Amber also said that the harsh comments from people towards Anna need to stop and she can't understand why people are so bothered especially as Amber herself is "happy".

"This woman is the best friend I could ever wish for she supports me 100%. "She has made me feel so good over these past few days and these comments need to stop." "I'm happy so why's everyone else so bothered. She's trying to make me happy not you so go about your business please."

Amber then went on to share a photo of herself and Anna with the caption "the realest relationship to come out of the villa [sic]" which could be described as a dig towards her former flame, Greg. Seeing as Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have just moved in together and Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard are seeing each other, it could also be viewed as directed at them. Who knows? One thing is clear, there's a lot of drama going down since the contestants left the Love Island villa and we doubt it's over yet.
