Anne Hathaway had the perfect advance response to body shamers

Anne Hathaway has set down body shamers in the best way possible as she puts on weight for a new role. On Thursday, the Oscar winner shared a video of her in the gym as she trains for the new film. She explained that she's gaining weight for the role and "it's going well" - and pre-emptively shut down any would-be future body shamers in the process. She wrote:

"I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well. "To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it's not me, it's you. Peace xx."

She later added to the caption:

"I wanted to set this to Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' but copyright said no. Continued peace xx."

It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise).”
