“I first came across the name after an artist from Dingle painted us a picture of the sea for our wedding.”But, from there, she found out that the name actually goes back generations in both her and her husband's families - with her great granny and John's granny and great granny sharing the moniker. All of them went by abbreviations, like Nora and Noni, but Aoibhín added: “We don’t want to shorten it. We love the full name.”
