Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato split from longtime manager Scooter Braun

Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have both reportedly split from their long-time manager, Scooter Braun.

Billboard has reported that Ariana has cut professional ties with Scooter after ten years of being signed to his company SB Projects. While reports of their split are hitting headlines, a source told Page Six that the two are still working together. The news came only hours after the same publication reported that Demi had also made the decision to drop Scooter as her manager last month and is still yet to find new management. It was reported last weekend that Justin Bieber, who has been signed to Scooter's company since 2008, a year before his first single One Time was released, also parted ways with the talent manager. The news was quickly cleared up when representatives for both Justin and Scooter denied the rumours. He then took on Ariana in 2013. Justin has seen all of his eight albums hit number one since being signed with Scooter, while Ariana has seen all four she has released while signed to Scooter's label hitting the same spot. Demi has been signed with Scooter since 2019 and has sadly not seen as much success, with her 2021 album Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over reaching number two in the US and her 2022 album Holy Fvck reaching number seven. Scooter was the face of much controversy back in 2019 when he made the decision to sell Taylor Swift's masters to a private equity company. After obtaining the masters when his company Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group in June 2019, it was reported in 2020 that he had sold the rights of Taylor's first six albums for a whopping $300 million.
