Ashley Graham wants pregnant women to talk openly about sex and you can see her point

Ashley Graham is pregnant with her first child and in a recent interview, she spoke out about how she's asking friends for their advice because understandably the whole experience is new to her.

Face of Revlon, podcast host and successful model, Ashley recently sat down with Vogue for an in-depth interview. If we didn't love her already, we're head over heels now for she spoke openly and honestly about her career, her love life and her pregnancy without holding back. The expectant mum said she felt alone at the beginning of her pregnancy and it felt weird to not have control of her body, as this was something she was very used to. Her stylist Jordan Foster gave her a piece of stellar advice and that was to make pregnant friends. Now, Ashley has nine friends expecting babies. Having someone to talk to makes all the difference and it's clear that this made a huge difference to Ashley who wanted an explanation for every last detail of her pregnancy and why exactly her body was changing so rapidly.

"I was one of those people who wanted to know every ugly detail of what happens . . . down there . . . what happens everywhere. Like, why are my nipples so big a week into being pregnant? This makes no sense; the baby doesn’t need to eat yet. I wanted to know every single thing, and I still love talking about it".

She also touched on how her sex life has changed since becoming pregnant and it can a while to figure out what position will work best when you've got a baby bump to consider.

"With pregnancy, things have been really different. Because there’s this huge bulge that can be sensitive if you lay on it or go into a new position. I’ve been literally asking every single one of my friends who have had babies or who’re pregnant, like, ‘What positions do you guys do?’ This has to be a normal conversation among mothers".

YES to this. The fact that Ashley is saying this should be a normal conversation is so refreshing because despite the fact that many women are experiencing the very same thing, it's still viewed as somewhat of a taboo subject. This needs to change and that will only happen when people start talking about it, normalising an important topic that deserves discussion.
