Ben Foden and wife Jackie share meaning behind baby girl’s name

Ben Foden has welcomed another daughter with his wife, Jackie

The family confirmed their daughter’s arrival in a new interview with OK! this week.

The happy couple revealed that they chose to call their baby girl Olympia, but they will call her Pia for short.

The name Pia has a pretty sweet meaning, so it comes as no surprise to see Ben and Jackie choose it for their baby girl.

The name is of Latin origin and means ‘reverent’.

According to The Bump, it’s an incredibly popular name with new parents that is ‘travelling far and wide’.

Ben and Jackie said they’re completely overjoyed by their new arrival.

Speaking about his other children, Ben said they likely won’t meet their little sister Olympia until the summer.

He explained that his two children, Aoife and Tadgh, visited on December 26th, just before Olympia was born in January.

They won’t meet their little sister for some time, but Foden confirmed they have FaceTimed a couple of times since she was born.

Jackie said she’d love for her stepchildren to visit again this year so they can meet baby Olympia.

Ben added: “In terms of them meeting Pia, it’ll be summer.”
