The BAFTA TV Awards were on in London's Royal Festival Hall last night and the best and worst of TV gathered to hopefully strike lucky with an award or two. The event, sponsored by House of Fraser ensured that all the stars were out in full force to steal the spotlight if not with their talent, then with their sartorial choices. There seemed to be a variety of different trends in dresses, but regardless all the stars shone in their incredible outfits. Black is always a popular option at red carpet events, and these outfits showed exactly why... Alexandra Roach The Welsh actress stunned in a black playsuit. Her pale skin compliments the looks exceptionally. Georgia May-Foote Ex-Coronation Street actress Georgia's fishtail dress was definitely one of the best looks of the night. I NEED that seashell clutch. With Summer just around the corner, yellow was the perfect colour for these ladies to shine... Michaela Coel Chewing Gum star Michaela showed us exactly who's boss in this beautiful multicoloured dress which complimented her body perfectly. BOW DOWN BITCHES.  Alesha Dixon Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha's body defies gravity. HOW DOES SHE DO IT? Really digging that blonde hair too. Fearne Cotton Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter Fearne brightened up the red carpet with her beautiful yellow lace ensemble. Metallics seem to be making a real statement this red carpet season and the BAFTA TV awards were no different... Amanda Holden Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda was emulating serious Princess Elsa vibes, with a beautiful sequinned train floating along the red carpet. Kara Tointon Ex-Eastender Kara shimmered in a simple silver grey dress, needing no accessories to add to her already incredible beauty. Rochelle Humes Xtra Factor presenter Rochelle proved the saying 'legs eleven' to be true with her thigh split but it was her metallic gold choker and heels that brought the look together. Gorgeous. Green also seems to be gaining popularity... Birdy Skinny Love singer Birdy stole the show in her emerald gown, emulating American supermodel Lizzy Jagger with her long curly hair. The bespoke black veil gives the look a gothic look, making her my best-dressed for the night. Eleanor Tomlinson Poldark actress Eleanor gives serious Celtic vibes in this beautiful green dress, complimenting her porcelain skin and flame red hair just perfectly. Most stars dressed to impress and from looking at the standard of these sensational beauties, I am definitely never eating again. *cries*
