Blake Lively has revealed the secret to her marriage to Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively has revealed the secret to her happy marriage with Ryan Reynolds.

The couple have been married for five years and have two daughters together: James, 2 and Ines, 1. The family-of-four have recently relocated to Dublin while Blake films scenes for her new movie, The Rhythm Section.  Which, according to the former Gossip Girl star, is key for them. The mum-of-two said the pair try not to let their hectic work schedules get in the way of spending time as a family, or their relationship. She explained to People:

“My husband and I don’t work at the same time, so we all go together as a family. “If we’re away as a family, it’s never more than for a day. We stay together.”

And while the 30-year-old admits the traveling as a family can sometimes be hectic, she feels fortunate to be able to bring her little ones on set - particularly Ines. She added:

“I’m not in an office where I can’t do that, so she’s either with me or when I’m shooting a scene, she’s one room away. “If she really needs me, I can pop over there.”

The Rhythm Section is being described as a female espionage thriller and is being produced by the makers of the Bond movies. The director of The Handmaid’s Tale, Reed Morano, is furthermore on board.
