Britney Spears and Sam Asghari tie the knot in LA

Britney Spears and her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari have officially got married. Sam's manager Brandon Cohen confirmed their nuptials in a statement given to People which read: "I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. "He is so caring and supportive every step of the way. "I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together." According to multiple sources, Britney and Sam were wed in front of 60 people, and some of the guests in attendance included Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore and Madonna. It's understood that Britney wore a dress by Versace and that she walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley's I Can't Help Falling In Love With You. Her two sons, Sean and Jadyen, did not attend the wedding, but in a statement from their father, Kevin Federline's lawyer, they are said to be "happy" for their mum. As TMZ reports, the only member of Britney's immediate family that attended the wedding was her brother Bryan. The gossip website also claimed that Britney's ex-husband, Jason Alexander, attempted to crash the wedding while live-streaming, before being restrained and taken off the property. Sam and Britney first met on the set of her music video Slumber Party many years ago. They announced that they were engaged shortly after Britney won her conservatorship case last year. Earlier this year, they announced that they were expecting their first child, however, in May they shared that Britney had suffered a miscarriage. At the time, they wrote: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent."
