Buckingham Palace 'horrified' when Meghan Markle released statements concerning her father.

As you may be aware, Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child last week but that hasn't stopped people from criticising some of the decisions made by the former Suits actress. A little harsh we must say but according to one royal expert, Meghan's way of doing things has ruffled feathers in Buckingham Palace. Her baby shower in New York went against royal tradition and this decision to break protocol didn't go down too well. Royal biographer Angela Levin recently commented on how Meghan and senior royal aides have had differences of opinion in the past. Angela said that when statements were released regarding Meghan's estrangement from her father Thomas Markle, people at Buckingham Palace were "horrified". Ouch. According to The Express, Angela said:

"Buckingham Palace was horrified. A key part of being Royal is that you don't say anything about that sort of thing. The Palace abides by its mantra, 'When in doubt, never speak out".

She also spoke about how the fact that Meghan's way of doing things is at odds with palace tradition and this has caused tension.

"Meghan has aroused the suspicion of some Palace insiders because of her apparent disregard for such long-established Royal values as caution and discretion".

Yikes. While there may be disagreements like any households, we're sure that all is well since Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor arrived into the world and it's important that the new parents enjoy this very important time. Yesterday, a new picture of Meghan and Archie was shared and many are convinced it features a tribute to the late Princess Diana, Prince Harry's mum, as forget-me-nots were her favourite flower.
