Charlie Bird has shared a health update with his supportive followers. The journalist admitted he is struggling with uncontrollable crying, which is a symptom of his MND.
The RTÉ broadcaster was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2021.
He told his followers that he is struggling, but he won't "give in".
Writing on Twitter, he stated;
"I can’t hide anymore where ever I am in my journey I am crying nonstop when I am out and about.
He continued, "I am not going to give in I am going to keep fighting to extend the hand of friendship to people in dark places.
"But crying nonstop is so awful," Charlie shared.
"A big hug for all the support," he added.
