Jeff Ballard, the actor’s press agent, told the Mail Online that the former Two And A Half Men star had suffered from ‘a severe case of food poisoning’.
“Just to be on the safe side, he went to the hospital,” Ballard stated.
“They checked him out, hydrated him and sent him on his way. He was back home in bed 90 minutes later.”
He added that the food poisoning was as a result of 'bad clams'.
