Chris Noth speaks about allegations for first time in new interview

Sex and The City star Chris Noth has spoken about the multiple sexual assault allegations made against him last year in a new interview.

The actor was accused of sexual assault by two separate women who did not know each other. They claimed that they were assaulted by the actor, best known as Mr Big in Sex and The City, in two incidents in 2004 and 2015. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that the women claimed the first incident happened in LA in 2004 and the second in New York in 2015. [caption id="attachment_586228" align="alignnone" width="960"] Credit: HBO[/caption] A third woman then came forward alleging that she was assaulted by Noth in 2010 at a restaurant in New York, saying she was 18 years old at the time, according to The Daily Beast. A fourth then alleged a similar incident happened to her in a New York restaurant in 1998 and again in 2002 when Noth allegedly kissed her, “forcibly pulled” her against him and groped her. Following the allegations made, Noth was dropped by his agent, removed from the CBS series The Equalizer and his character in the SATC spin-off And Just Like That was written off. Now speaking in an interview with USA Today, Noth has denied the allegations but admitted to "straying" from his wife Tara Wilson. He said: “There’s nothing I can say to change anyone’s mind when you have that kind of a tidal wave. It sounds defensive. I’m not. “There’s no criminal court. There’s no criminal trial. There’s nothing for me to get on the stand about and get my story out, get witnesses. And there’s even more absurd add-ons that are completely ridiculous, that have absolutely no basis in fact. “And I don’t like talking about it because as soon as I do, you’ll get the Daily Mail or someone grabbing a part of it and doing it, and I don’t want my kids seeing that.”
