Cody Simpson subtly shades Liam Hemsworth during TV interview

Ah now, is this really needed?

It's been such a whirlwind few months for Miley Cyrus. Since announcing her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, she has dated Kaitlynn Carter and then announced Cody Simpson as her boyfriend on social media. Liam seems to have also moved on with Dynasty actress Maddison Brown. People break up. People move on. All good. However, Cody recently appeared on a US TV show and seemed to shade Liam (and probably Kaitlynn, too). While speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, he spoke about his relationship with Miley, and noted certain circumstances about her ex-partners. "I’m very, very, very romantic," he said. "I don’t think she... she’d talked about how she hadn’t had that kind of an experience in a relationship before.

"We’ve just been close ever since we met. It’s like the first time I’ve been with someone that it wasn’t necessarily an immediate romance. It was a friendship and it was fun and it just developed over like five years."

He continued: "She’s been through a lot this year and I was trying to be respectful of that and we kind of found each other. We just found each other in a place where we’re both ready for something like this and we’re both sober… We keep each other in a good space. I’ve never had that in a relationship."
