Confirmed: Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt Have Split

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have gone their separate ways after 18 years together.  Although it was rumoured that the couple were on the rocks earlier this year, PEOPLE reports that they have now confirmed the split in a joint statement. The pair were together for 18 years.  They told the publication: "With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward." The pair were last seen in public together in July, following rumours that they had split and reports that Jon had entered a rehab facility. Jon and Jennifer have been plagued with split rumours for month.  At the time Star magazine reported: "Jennifer realized that she and Jon don’t want the same things." "The relationship just ran its course." The pair began dating in 1997 and starred in Friends With Kids together in 2011.
