Congrats! Scandal star confirms she has welcomed her first child

Scandal's Katie Lowes has welcomed her first child.

The 36-year-old revealed on Twitter that she and her husband Adam Shapiro had welcomed a little boy named Albee. The actress, who plays Quinn Perkins on the Shondaland drama, shared her news during the show's final season premiere - where her character is also pregnant. She posted a photo showing the newborn's tiny feet alongside a bowl of popcorn, a glass, a drill, a green pacifier, a device advertising Scandal's final season and a little sign announcing the "Baby Gladiator"'s name. https://www.instagram.com/p/BZ4x8x3Bl3T/?taken-by=ktqlowes She captioned the photo:

"I told her like, five minutes from being pregnant. "You know what she said to me? She already knew. Because she's Shona, she's a genius. "She knew the minute I got pregnant.
