Corrie Star Splits From Fiancé To Concentrate on Career

Georgia May Foote has reportedly called off her engagement to her plumber beau John. The actress, who spoke out about life after Coronation Street this week, is said to be single after splitting from her childhood sweetheart. According to The Sun newspaper she is going to be focusing on her career and has hopes of breaking Hollywood. Georgia May Foote has apparently ended her engagement. An insider told the publication: “She had her leaving do from Corrie last week. “She was telling everyone they’d split up and she was looking forward to a future acting career in America. “Everyone was very surprised because she has always been very happy with him and never been interested in a showbiz lifestyle. But this will be a new start for her.” The couple , who got engaged in 2013, were together for years before Georgia joined the soap. She is currently getting ready to film her final scenes for the show having decided to leave.
