Dakota Johnson addresses rumours she is expecting a baby with Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson has addressed the speculation she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Christ Martin.

The actress has been dating Coldplay frontman for almost a year. The pair were reported to be expecting their first child after holding a party where blue and pink balloons were released, which led to speculation that it was a gender reveal celebration. However, the 50 Shades of Grey star has now explained what really happened during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show. As she walked onto the set, Ellen told her, “That is a mighty tight outfit for someone who is pregnant…” The 29-year-old laughed, before telling her:

“Well, the only thing I’m pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas, but not any babies."

She explained to Ellen that the party was actually her birthday - and that she didn't think the balloons weren't meant to be released. She continued:

“It was my birthday and there were balloons that happened to be pink and blue, and so then I was pregnant? “I didn’t know that the balloons were going to be released, they were just in an arch. “But I guess that accidentally happened, one of the ends got let go. But a lot of people congratulated me.”
