Danny Jones wants to make his marriage work

The singer was caught kissing the reality star at a Brit Awards after-party earlier this month.

Danny confessed to kissing Maura Higgins, but has stressed that he loves his wife.

In a statement on Instagram, the singer said: "Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.

He concluded: “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”

Reports confirmed that Georgia moved out of their family home to get some space from the singer.

However, Danny is reportedly committed to doing anything to make their marriage work.

An insider told The Sun:

"The break has done Georgia a world of good. Being out of the house and with her friend Rose Mahon was what she needed to clear her head.

"Her relationship with Danny was pushed to breaking point and they are still trying to work out what they want."

"Danny has made it clear he will do anything to make it work. He loves Georgia and wants their marriage to get back on track."

The couple have been married since 2014. Georgia and Danny are parents to a son named Cooper.
