David Beckham just surprised an eleven-year-old girl in hospital, and we’re crying

He's an angel.

What did we do to deserve David Beckham? The former football star/ overall nice guy made one of his young fans a very happy girl. David popped along to Great Ormond Street hospital to congratulate Ella Chadwick, who recently won a Pride of Britain award. Eleven-year-old Ella, who has spent most of her young life in hospital with congenital nephrotic syndrome, won the Child of Courage Award. Not only has she faced her disease with bravery, but she has also done fundraising, as well as making hundreds of get well cards to help children in hospital. What an amazing young lady! So naturally, David Beckham wanted to meet this impressive girl. In a clip, which will be aired on Tuesday during the awards, Ella's parents can be seen reading out a card from David, just moments before David knocks on the door. Ella's reaction was adorable, she was so shocked and delighted (we don't blame her!) David helped Ella deliver all the cards around the hospital, commenting on how amazing they are. "I can’t believe all these cards. You must be constantly covered in glitter. I must admit, I’m constantly covered in glitter with my daughter as well," he said. Check out the sweet video here:
