Doireann Garrihy reaches major relationship milestone with Mark Megihan

It seems like things between Doireann Garrihy and her boyfriend Mark Megihan have gotten serious.

She's been keeping her followers in the loop about the project, often posting the process being made but this time she let a big life update slip.

Sharing a video recorded in her sister's childhood bedroom, Doireann said "As you can probably hear, I'm still sick - it's been a week now.

"I'm coming to you from this room that I was staying in during Dancing With The Stars in my parents' house, it's Ailbhe's old room, I just have a little cup of Lemsip here...

"I took two days off the breakfast show this week. That was also because of my back, so I was just whacked, completely whacked on Wednesday and Thursday, was back on air Friday.

"Mark and I are staying here until the house is ready," she revealed, "My parents are away, so we have plenty of space.

"I realise my updates on the house have been few and far between and kinda just teasers, little corners but I'll show lots more when we're in," the radio presenter said.

"So excited now. The amount of moving and cycling through bags and boxes has just been exhausting, so it will be so nice to actually be in the house for proper wintery nights."

The pair announced their relationship in January of this year, following weeks of speculation as to who Doireann's mystery man was.

Though they are planning to move in together, Mark is already a homeowner after purchasing a home in Dun Laoghaire.
