Dolly Parton can only be reached by fax

It's not easy to get a hold of Dolly Parton.

During an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen', she revealed that you can only get ahold of the 'Nine To Five' singer by fax.

When asked by her host Andy how she speaks to Dolly, Reba revealed that the country legend "does not text".

"I don't have her telephone number and I asked Kenny Rogers one time. I said, 'Do you have Dolly’s number?' He said, 'No.' Maybe he said that because he didn't want to give it to me, I don't know," she explained.

When Andy asked how she gets a hold of her friend when she wants to have a chat, Reba replied by fax, leaving her fellow guest and singer Troye Sivan looking shocked.

However, it must work as the two collaborated on Reba's 2021 song 'Does He Love You'.

It's not the first time someone has said Dolly prefers the old-fashioned method over the use of a mobile phone as her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, said the same thing back in 2020.

Speaking to Seth Myers on his late-night talk show, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer was discussing her T-Mobile advert that ran before the 2020 Super Bowl the topic of Dolly just happened to crop up as she appeared alongside her.

"It was amazing because, you know, she was doing it for the phones," Miley explained, "yet every time I coordinate and kind of communicate with Dolly, it's still through fax."

"She has a phone. She just doesn't use it, I don't think," the 30-year-old added, "I think someone uses it for her and does the fax machine through the phone."
