Dua Lipa addresses Trevor Noah romance rumours

Dua Lipa has addressed widespread speculation that she is dating comedian Trevor Noah. The singer has been papped out and about with the former Daily Show host in New York, but she has since shut down the rumours. During an episode of her iHeartRadio podcast, Dua described herself as single, but admitted that finding someone who "softens" her makes a "big difference". She told her guest Charli XCX: "For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time. "It's been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish, which I've never really had the opportunity to do. But when you find someone that really softens you and calms you down ... it makes a big difference!" The New Rules singer was previously in a relationship with model Anwar Hadid, which she ended in December 2021. At the time of their breakup she spoke to Vogue Magazine about the next chapter of her life, which she said is all about "truly being good with being alone". Dua's statement on her relationship status follows eyewitness reports from sources claiming that she's dating Trevor Noah. One source said that they spotted the pair enjoying each other's company out and about in New York City. They told E! Online: "They sat next to each other. They seemed very into each other, leaning in over the table, sharing food, and enjoying their conversation. Not surprisingly, he had her laughing a few times too!" The source added: "After dinner they stepped outside the restaurant and before leaving each other, they shared a kiss."
