Due to high demand, Elton John has added another date to his Irish tour

This morning, Elton John announced that he is adding more dates to his European tour, which includes one more date in Ireland. Earlier this year, he announced that he would take to the 3Arena stage on December 4, however another date has just been added - December 5. Tickets for the extra date will go on sale on Thursday October 10 at 9am on Ticketmaster.

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour kicked off in the US over a year ago in September 2018, and has been greeted with a wealth of praise. The three year tour will consist of more than 350 shows across five continents, hitting North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia before reaching its conclusion in 2021. 2019 has already seen the release of Rocketman, a critically acclaimed epic fantasy musical motion picture of his life which has also been a huge box office smash, already taking close to €200m at the box office office. Elton’s forthcoming autobiography Me will be published globally on October 15.
