DWTS’ Curtis Pritchard shares emotional New Year’s message after ‘unprovoked attack’

Dancing With the Stars' Curtis Pritchard has told how the attack that left him and his brother hospitalised was actually a 'blessing'.

The 23-year-old and his brother, Strictly Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard, were attacked by eight men while on a night out with friends over the holidays. According to a spokesperson for the pair, AJ was bruised on his face, arms, body and legs while Curtis is to undergo an emergency operation to correct damage to his knee after the "unprovoked attack." He went on to admit that while the incident had been tragic, it was also a "blessing". He continued:

"It’s brought us even closer together and made us stronger then ever. "We will be entering this new year with positive minds and with the knowledge that sometimes people knock you down and try and break you. "But having your family there and the love we share for each other nothing can break us... we are starting this new year with the brightest of futures ahead."
