“False Headlines” – Dan Hooper Plays Down Reports of Split

Dan Hooper has taken to Twitter to play down reports that he and Kym Marsh have called off their engagement. While he did confirm that they are taking some time out, he insisted that their engagement is still on.

On Monday night it was said that Dan and Kym had called it quits, seven months after getting engaged. Meanwhile his ex, Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring, is said to have mixed feelings about the news. An insider told MailOnline that she has sympathy for Dan but is relieved that the drama with Kym has come to an end. Stephanie apparently has mixed feelings about the reports. A source revealed:  “He’s the father of her child so despite whatever has happened she does want the best for him but the past year has not been pleasant dealing with Kym. “As much as she wants the best for him, it’s all a bit too raw right now… Although she feels sorry for him, it seems like karma.”
