David Schwimmer denies Jennifer Aniston dating rumours

Yesterday, it was reported that Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are apparently dating. According to Closer magazine, a 'source' told the publication that after reuniting at the Friends special with James Cordon, Jen and David rekindled a bit of their fondness for one another. They went for dinner, they hung out at Jen's house, they started chatting via social media again - all nice things, all things you could also do with someone if you were simply friends with them. Which they are - just friends, that is. Well, that's that then. Although an official statement has yet to be released from either party, we've got a denial from David's team and that should be enough for now. These dating rumours came after the Friends reunion, in which Jen and David admitted that they had feelings for each other during the filming of the show's first season. Host James Corden asked the cast whether any off-set romances occurred on the show, to which Jen responded: “Well, I mean… David.” Schwimmer elaborated: “The first season I had a major crush on Jen.” “And I think at some point we both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. We never crossed that boundary. We respected that." David went on: "I thought back on the very first year or two when we had breaks from rehearsal, there were moments when we would cuddle on a couch. And I’m thinking, ‘how did everyone not know that we were crushing on each other?’” Jen added: “It was reciprocal. Honestly I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television’. "Sure enough the first time that we kissed was in that coffee shop. So we just channelled all our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.”
