The Friends gals had a mini-reunion for Courtney Cox’s birthday and our hearts

We guess they are still FRIENDS, after all.

Courtney Cox had a bit of a Friends mini-reunion over the weekend as she and Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 55th birthday. The actor shared a photo of the three to her Instagram grid, writing: "How lucky am I to celebrate my birthday with these two??? I love you girls. So much." It seems, however, that the gals hanging out is as much of a reunion as we're ever going to get... which to be honest is probably a relief. Earlier this week, Friends creator Marta Kauffman confirmed that there absolutely are no plans for a Friends reunion - and that they won't be making any either. And oh, disappoint fans, it would. The writer told AP that there were no immediate plans to bring the show back despite rumours that the cast were apparently all up for it. C'mon lads, have a bit of foresight - this would not be a good thing. Just let them have their birthday drinks in peace instead. That's enough for us.
