According to The Sun, insiders are saying that Garth will only return if he gets to play the five dates he didn't manage to do in 2014.
A source said: "It becomes a big story for Garth if he gets the five nights at Croke Park he was denied before. Three nights won’t be enough.
"He wants his full five shows at least if he is ever to return to Ireland.
"But Garth could do three nights in Croke Park then another three concerts in the Aviva Stadium."
Adding that he could do what Ed Sheeran did in 2018 and add more dates in different parts of the country, as only three concerts are allowed to be held in Croke Park each year.
This is causing issues as Ed Sheeran has booked two concerts in April of 2022.
